Great Qualifying Effort at Slinger Lands Bernhagen Among the Best

Drew and Jesse opened the season at Slinger Super Speedway this past weekend, Jesse completed with the Midwest Tour Super Late Model series, and qualified a very respectable 4th place among 35 cars. Jesse would start the race 9th and have to go to the rear of the field after contact sent another car into the wall bringing out a caution. Jesse would recover for a 14th place finish, after losing power steering on lap 25.

Drew would begin his rookie of the year campaign against the Late Model field at Slinger, a rough qualifying effort landed him starting at the tail of the field, but Drew stayed out of trouble and came home with a solid 6th place finish!
