Bernhagen Wins in Photo Finish at Slinger Super Speedway!

An incredible night of racing at the Slinger Super Speedway was capped off when our own Jesse Bernhagen went to the high side with two laps to go, and completed a pass for the lead coming off of turn four of the final lap. Bernhagen won the feature event over Tom Berens by .025 seconds, which equates to about a foot of track real estate. (Here’s a link to the video) It capped a strong weekend for the team, Jesse raced the CWRA’s Nabbefeldt Memorial race on Saturday night at Dells Raceway Park, after qualifying 4th, Jesse would record a 6th place finish. Bernhagen was unable to win the event for a fourth year in a row.

Drew Bernhagen raced in the Pro Late Model feature at Dells Raceway Park on Saturday night as well, Drew started the feature 18th and finished 13th in the race! Moving forward is always a good thing.

Another busy weekend is ahead of the Bernhagen racing team, the schedule is as follows:

• Friday 6/2 – Drew at Tomah Sparta Speedway
• Saturday 6/3 – Jesse at Dells Raceway Park in the Legends Division and the Super Late Model with the ME Motorsports 32 team
• Sunday 6/4 – Jesse at Slinger Super Speedway
