Opening Night at DRP a successful one for TBR!

Jesse and Drew kicked off their 2023 Pro Late Model season at Dells Raceway Park on Saturday night, Jesse qualified 3rd of 25 cars, finished 4th in the dash, and finished 5th in the feature after starting 12th. Jesse was up to second at one point in the race when there was a skirmish in turn one involving a lap car, lost a few positions but recovered for that top five.

The highlight of the evening was seeing Drew win the Semi Feature! A semi feature is a race in which a driver must earn their starting spot in the main event by finishing top four in the semi feature event. Drew would start on the pole of this race, and lead every lap. Winning his first trophy in late model competition! Drew would go on to finish 17th in the main event after a spin late in the race.

Look for schedule changes for Jesse in the coming weeks, in the meantime, the team will prepare the ME Motorsports car for another super late model race this coming Saturday night at DRP, May 20th.
